As every owner knows, AIBO is free-spirited and inquisitive with a burning desire to explore and entertain. The world’s most popular entertainment robot loves to play your favourite CD’s, dance the night away at parties, take pictures and communicate with your friends. It recognises faces, expresses emotion through its IllumeFace and even connects remotely to a PC so you can keep in touch from another part of the house. AIBO Mind 3 builds on all the great attributes of Mind 2 with a brilliant range of new interactive features. One of the most exciting developments is the Diary & Blog. Utilising the latest AIBO Entertainment Player, AIBO can now record its own diary complete with photos and comments and upload it to the web. Want to hear how your four-legged companion feels? That’s no problem with Mind 3 – AIBO will communicate in spoken words! Connectivity is another big part of Mind 3 and now you can link up with AIBO from anywhere in the world. Just think how useful that could be! Get AIBO to take a picture of the kids and e-mail it back to you or read out your schedule for the following week while you’re away. All AEP features including Navigator, Player and Diary can be controlled remotely via the net…plus with the new AIBO Mind Scope feature, you can easily see what items AIBO has in its vicinity and give instructions wirelessly from your PC. AIBO can also surf your favourite websites and read out online bulletins for you when you get home - how cool is that! For the first time ever, your loyal companion features a short-term memory that allows it to remember exactly where its favourite place, AIBOne, pink ball, energy station are located for up to five minutes walk away. Say ‘Go to the Station’ and AIBO will head straight there without having to stop to scan the room for visual patterns. AIBO Mind 3 launches at the end of October on Pearl White and Pearl Black ERS-7 models along with a stunning new Brown model sporting unique ear and tail colouring – an absolute stunner that will really turn heads!
