On The Grid with Red Bull Racing

AIBO has been gracing the glamorous world of Formula One recently, courtesy of up and coming F1 outfit, Red Bull Racing. The team has been using AIBO in their pit garages and hospitality areas since September and by all accounts, everybody has been impressed.

Did you watch the recent Italian GP from Monza? If so, you may have seen a unique-looking AIBO seducing journalists, drivers, mechanics and pitgirls outside the Red Bull garage. The new F1 team has taken quite a shine to AIBO, using the world’s most popular robot to entertain staff with tricks and keep spirits high during the high intensity race weekend. Sporting a special Red Bull Racing design, AIBO made several trips down the pitlane and held a series of interviews with the press. Even Juan Pablo Montoya from rival team West McLaren Mercedes came over with his family to investigate! As a result of its antics at Monza, AIBO has been spotted in a variety of motor racing magazines across the world in recent weeks including Autosport!
