What is Additional Remote Control Data Service :

In order to increase compatibility between the on-screen remote control function of the LocationFree Player software and audio/video devices, we have made more remote control data available for more devices. This remote control data can be downloaded and installed separately for each audio/video device.

How to use Additional Remote Control Data with PSP(TM) :

Note : PSP Firmware version 2.80 or higher is required to enable the use of additional remote control data

1. Select the model of your target device.
2. Download the target data. The data will be saved automatically to your Memory Stick Duo in the following location : MSSONY - LF - RC_DATA
3. Close the browser.
4. Select Remote Settings and choose the correct audio/video device. The installed device can now be selected from the list. If these remote control codes are the first of your brand, a new brand name will be added to the list of manufacturers.





Otherwise, they will simply be added to the list of devices of your brand as below.





5. You can now use the on-screen remote control function of your audio/video device.

Caution :

• Keys with no button names are keys without any action linked to it
• You can use up to 30 Additional Remote Control Data. If there are more than 30 files in the RC_DATA folder, please delete the data from "Remote Control Settings" by selecting the unnecessary data.
• Please do not change the file name of the Additional Remote Control data , when changed the data will no longer be displayed
